On the 16th week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region remain at the level of last week, contracts for a shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports are concluded at an average level of $ 48 per ton. The number of shipments still remains quite low, but there is no strong increase in open fleet positions. Basically, the level of rates is supported by shipments of grain subcultures and coal. At the same time, the new increase in export fees does not contribute to the successful conclusion of contracts for shipments of wheat, corn and barley. Thus, the tax on wheat exports from Russia from April 19 to 25 inclusive will increase to 5759.5 rubles per ton, for the export of barley — up to 2480.7 rubles, for the export of corn — up to 3729.2 rubles per ton. It is worth noting that every day appear more and more requests for export shipments from the Russian river, mainly to Marmara and Mersin.
