On the 17th week, there is a drop in freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region. Thus, contracts for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports are concluded on average at the level of 38 dollars per ton. There is usual for the end of grain season decrease of trade activity on the market. Shipments of other cargoes, such as coal or fertilizers, from the region’s ports are also in low demand.
The rate on wheat exports from Russia will increase to 3,443 rubles from April 24th, the tax on barley will slightly decrease to 440.7 rubles, while the tax on corn will remain zero.
