On the 34th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region remain at the level of USD 26 pmt for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports. Charterers are actively calculating grain shipments to Mediterranean Sea countries, but most requests do not reach contract stage. There is also no increase in shipments from Russian river ports. Sharp increase of export fee rate does not contribute neither to conclusion of contracts. Thus, the rate for wheat and corn export after a strong decrease will grow three times this week, up to 1033.6 rubles/t and 828.4 rubles/t, respectively. Export tax on barley will remain zero.
