On the 43rd week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region remain at the level of USD 32 per ton for a shipment of 3,000 tons of deadweight cargo from Azov to Marmara Sea ports. Demand for Russian grain in Turkey still remains quite weak, while a slightly greater demand is noted for shipments to Mediterranean countries such as Egypt, Libya or Tunisia. There is also few coal and fertilizer contracts concluded at the moment.
The fee on wheat exports will be increased again from October 23, to 2,121.2 rubles. The tax on barley will remain almost the same as last week, 389.7 rubles, while the export fee on corn will be lowered to 2,671.7 rubles per ton.
