On the 19th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region continued to go down, falling to USD 32 per tonne for 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports. There is a lull in the grain market due to low demand from major buyers as well as to the May holidays in Russia.
The rate for wheat exports from Russia from May 8th till 14th will drop to 3277.7 rubles per ton, while taxes on barley and corn will be at zero level.
