On the 21st week, rates in the Azov-Black Sea region continue to gradually fall. Thus, freight cost for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports will be USD 31 per ton. Demand in the Turkish market is still extremely low.
At the same time, it should be noted that the number of requests for cabotage transportation from the ports of the Russian River is growing, as well as for export shipments from the Volga region. There is also growth of coal shipments by short sea.
The tax rate on wheat exports from Russia will increase to 3,277.7 rubles from May 22nd, while export fees on barley and corn will remain at zero.
