In week 36, the freight market in the Azov–Black Sea region remains largely unchanged. Shippers continue to look for new markets for their cargoes or explore more complex logistical solutions. In view of the need to restructure logistics, the export duty on wheat, barley and corn is planned to be set at zero until 31 December 2026.
In the Caspian region, freight rates have continued to rise steadily for several weeks in a row.
In the Baltic region, freight levels also showed positive dynamics this week. The diversion of part of the cargoes from the Azov–Black Sea region to the Baltic has brought increased activity to the coaster market. Charterers are already actively enquiring for October–November shipments and requesting freight indications.
