On the 4th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region continue to fall. Thus, the price for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports decreased to the level of 56 dollars per ton. Like last week, demand for Russian grain remains rather weak. Besides, there are no active shipments of other cargoes from Azov Sea ports. Such situation on the grain market affects export taxes.
Thus, the rate for wheat export from Russia since January 24th is 3,566.5 rubles per ton against 3,946.5 rubles per ton a week earlier. The export fee on corn has decreased to 664.2 rubles from 973.1 rubles per ton. At the same time, it should be noted that the export tax on barley, which is shipped primarily in the Caspian region, for the first time since October 25th last year is not zero, amounting this week to 162.2 rubles per ton.
