In Week 41, the situation in the Azov–Black Sea region remains unchanged, with no signs of a resumption of navigation in the near future. At the same time, the Caspian market continues to show a sharp increase in freight rates. Freight for 3,000 tons of grain from Astrakhan to northern Iranian ports is currently being fixed at USD 132–135 per ton.
Activity in the Baltic region remains steady; however, due to dry and moderate weather conditions, freight rates in the region have remained at last week’s levels.
