On the 46th week freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region continue to decline. Contracts for the transportation of 3,000 tons of deadweight cargo from Azov to ports on the Sea of Marmara are being concluded at a rate of USD 28-29 per ton. Sales of Russian grain to Turkey remain rare, while Mediterranean Sea countries continue to be the most popular export destinations for this season. However, a decrease in cargo flow to these destinations is also observed. Additionally, with the end of the navigation season on Russian rivers approaching, there is little demand for export shipments from river ports.
As of November 13, the export duty on wheat from Russia will slightly increase to 2,569.2 rubles per ton. The duty on barley will rise to 1,367.4 rub/t, and on corn to 3,288.4 rub/t.
