On the 47th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region are maintained at the level of last week. Thus, a shipment of 3000 tons of deadweight cargo from Azov to Marmara Sea ports will cost USD 28 per ton. Low world grain prices do not allow traders to conclude contracts profitably, so the market in the region is stagnant. It should be noted that this week it has been announced the dates of closure of navigation on the Volga-Don Canal, the locks will be closed for the passage of vessels on November 27th.
The rate of duty on wheat exports from Russia from November 20th will increase to 2,689.7 rubles per ton. At the same time, the tax on barley will be reduced to 1,233.2 rubles, and on corn – to 3,065.5 rubles per ton.
