On the 47th week, freight rates in the Azov–Black Sea region remained at USD 46–47 per ton for shipments of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports. Due to drone attacks in the Kerch Strait, vessel traffic was suspended for several days, resulting in long queues and delays in passing through the strait. As a result, the market experienced a shortage of spot tonnage, which supported freight rates from further decline despite the continued decrease in demand from Turkish buyers.
The export duty rate for Russian wheat will amount to 202.7 rubles starting from 19 November, compared to 185.5 rubles per ton a week earlier. Export duties on barley and corn will remain at zero.
