On the 49th week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region continued to record growth, reaching a level of $ 74 for a shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports. The increase in rates is explained by unfavorable weather conditions in the port of Rostov, where the water has disappeared partly this week. Thus, there is a delay of vessels and the resulting shortage of fleet in the region for December dates. Despite some improvement in weather conditions, the situation is unlikely to stabilize completely in the coming week. Many shipowners are looking for cargo from Yeysk, Taganrog and Temryuk, but the flow of cargo from these ports is quite small. It should be noted that this week the export fee on barley and wheat slightly increased, while the export tax on corn remained zero.
