On the 49th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region slightly increased. Thus, on average contacts for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports are concluded at the level of 67 dollars per ton. Weather conditions in the region have stabilized this week, and sales to Turkey are quite active, resulting in market growth. In addition, it is worth noting that the ban on exports of Russian-origin durum, imposed since December 1st, practically has not caused any reaction on the freight market. As for export fees, its changes this week are insignificant. The tax rate for wheat exports from Russia from December 6th will amount to 3,808.1 rubles, for barley the export fee will be zero for the seventh week in a row, and for corn it will decrease to 618.9 rubles per ton.
