On the 6th week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region continue to decrease. Thus, the cost of a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports is 53 dollars per ton. As in recent weeks, there is no high demand for Russian grain. Shipments to European and Middle East countries are practically absent. This year, the introduction of the export quota on February 15th did not lead to an increase in shipments by companies, which will not be able to ship wheat, corn and barley until June 30, as it was the case in previous years. In addition, the export fee hike is not conducive to contracting. The rate for wheat exports from Russia will increase to 3,804.6 rubles per ton from February 7th. The tax on barley will rise to 827 rubles per ton, while on corn – to 1,339.8 rubles per ton.
