On the 48th week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region for shipping 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports remain at $47 per ton. As noted by charterers, demand for Russian grain in Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean countries is gradually declining, but the rate is being maintained, as it was last week, due to the long wait to pass through the Kerch Strait. Most ships are experiencing delays of 3-4 days for both entry and exit. The export rate for wheat from Russia will increase to 232.3 rubles per ton starting November 26th. Tax rates for barley and corn remain at zero.
