On the 3rd week, freight rates in Azov-Black Sea region started to fall. Thus, the price for a shipment of 3000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports dropped to 58 dollars per ton. The main factor of market fall is low demand from Turkish partners. Occasionally there are requests for distant destinations such as Mersin and Italy, but sales are still extremely rare. Buyers are expecting lower grain prices.
The export fee on wheat exports will drop to 3946.5 rubles per ton from January 17th, the tax on barley exports will remain zero, while the rate on corn exports will drop to 973.1 rubles per ton.
