On the 39th week, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region continue to rise. Thus, a shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports is carried out for $ 65 per ton. This week, the shortage of fleet in the region has become even more sensitive. At the same time, the demand for Russian grain is growing, and it is worth noting that requests are actively coming not only from Turkey, but also from Greece, Italy, Israel, Lebanon and Egypt. There is also a rather difficult situation with the river fleet, there are not enough vessels in the Volga basin to ship the grain sold for export before the end of navigation. In the current situation, it is hardly worth expecting a significant improvement in the situation on the freight market of the region in the short term.
