In the 34th week, the freight market in the Russian Azov-Black Sea region continues to face difficulties. The number of shipments is minimal, and it is extremely difficult for charterers to find ways to export cargo profitably.
In Week 33, the freight market in the southern regions of Russia remains challenging. In addition to the ongoing restrictions at the ports of the Azov Sea, difficulties are also being observed at Russian Black Sea ports.
Shipments from the ports of the Azov region remained suspended during Week 32.
During Week 31, shipments from the Azov Sea region remained on hold. Charterers continue to seek alternative loading options at other ports
In Week 30, shipments from the ports of the Azov region remained on hold. The handling capacity of the Black Sea ports is still insufficient to accommodate a significant share of the cargo flow
Shipments from the ports of the Azov region have been effectively suspended since the end of last week. As of July 10, vessel traffic through the Azov–Don Canal and the Kerch Strait has been restricted following an increase in attacks on the fleet.
In Week 28, freight rates in the Azov–Black Sea region remained stable at USD 23 per tonne for the shipment of 3,000 tonnes of wheat from Azov to the Marmara Sea ports.
During Week 27, freight rates in the Azov-Black Sea region remain at USD 23 per ton for the shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to the Marmara Sea ports.
Freight rates in the Azov–Black Sea region continued to decline during Week 26. The rate for shipment of 3,000 mt of wheat from Azov to Marmara Sea ports is currently estimated at around USD 23–24 per metric ton.
During week 25, the freight market in the Azov–Black Sea region remained stable. Freight rates for the shipment of 3,000 tons of wheat from Azov to the Marmara Sea ports continued to hold at around USD 25 per ton.
